CBE (Coalition of Black Excellence) was a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment and growth of the Black community through strategic engagement and events.
As Creative Director, I leveraged my background in web marketing, social media, and digital content strategy to execute marketing campaigns that increased exposure for both the Inaugural CBE Summit and Code Black Gala in partnership with UNCF, resulting in 600+ and 1200+ attendees respectively. Collaborating with a team of designers and vendors to ensure brand recognition on both online and offline outputs, we redesigned the CBE website, providing a user-friendly and engaging experience for sponsors, partners, and event attendees. Prior to being the Creative Director, I also served as a Social Media Manager where I managed growth strategies of all social platforms which led to a 462% increase in total social following and partnered with the executive team to develop and launch the brand for the Inaugural CBE summit in a span of 6 months.
